CR Inside: Prison Ministry
Isaiah 61: “The Lord has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners”. This is the biblical basis for CR Inside prison outreach. Those that come from the “outside” volunteer their time mentoring and guiding. Participants on the “inside” participate in the recovery process and learn leadership. This collaborative relationship changes all involved from the inside out! This process is being used to build up the incarcerated and support them in transition to the community.
